David A. Smith, P.E.

Process Engineer

David Smith is a process design engineer with a broad base of experience and accomplishment. His areas of expertise include chemical, pharmaceutical, food, and allied process industries. He has worked problems involving biotechnology, distillation, spray drying, developing pure water systems, treatment of hazardous waste, fermentation kill systems/containment, bulk handling, good manufacturing practices and validation, batch and sterile processes, pharmaceutical secondary manufacturing and clean in place/steam in place systems.

David holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the UC Berkeley and an M.S. in Food Engineering from MIT.
