Joshua T. Trachtenberg, Ph.D.

Biotechnology

Dr. Trachtenberg is Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurobiology at University of California in Los Angeles. His research focuses on understanding the cellular and circuit-wide mechanisms that underlie the acquisition and consolidation of memories in the cortex. Prior to joining the UCLA faculty, he was a postdoctoral fellow at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory and at the University of California, San Francisco. He received his PhD in developmental neurobiology at the University of Texas-Austin and his BA from Brandeis University.
