Robert M. Cowan, Ph.D.

Environmental Engineer

Robert Cowan is the Laboratory Director at Carbozyme. He has been a laboratory director in the Department of Environmental Sciences at Rutgers University since September 1994. He has been doing laboratory research since 1983. He is experienced in the use of many hazardous materials including strong acids, bases, numerous solvents, potentially pathogenic microorganisms, and radionuclides (C-14, H-3).

Bob holds a Ph.D. in Civil (Environmental) Engineering and M.S. and B.S. degrees in Chemical Engineering from SUNY Buffalo.
